Hi, my name is Hannah, I was born on August 9, 2005 at 7:39pm. I weighed in at a mere 5lbs. 12 oz. and measured 20 (long) inches in length. I did not come into this world willingly until the end.
I first started to arrive on Thursday/Friday August 4/5 at around 1:30am, but the prospect of emerging into an unknown environment kept me in until my mommy was induced on Monday the 8th. I still held to my guns as I refused to let some weird medication push me out of my comfortable atmosphere. I also kept both mommy and daddy from sleeping as they eagerly awaited my arrival (ha-ha). So by the time I was born, they had been awake for the better part of 120 hours and now that I am here I try to fool them into thinking I need constant attending to and sometimes mommy falls for it and sometimes daddy does, but either way I am seeing that my needs are met and my wants are executed in a fashion that I deem appropriate. Oh, did I fail to mention that they are still sleep deprived too (he-he), that will teach them to think of sleeping.
I will settle down for them soon, but for now they need to know who is boss, so I wail for hours on end and then wail some more. Hey Mommy, isn't this a fun game?
I know you both love me and I love you, so please know that I am just scared as anything and need you to show me that all will be ok with the world around me. Do not be angry or upset and please accept my deepest apologies as I embark on this scary roller coaster adventure that we call life.
